I've got a problem and I need you guys to help me.
I love cracking laugh at jokes, puns, banters (and sometimes insults). Even if it was a bad one (i mean really really bad that somehow it creates uncomfortable silence) I would give a slight smile with lips stretching to my left cheek.
Quite frankly, I love making jokes too. I love jokes so much that I wanna take it to movie, get married and get it pregnant. But here is the problem. I have encountered in so many times before, that sometimes when I pulled a joke people just don't seem to get it. It startled me. The timing (yeah apparently you have to pick a moment to tell your jokes. Go check on Wiki) couldn't have been more perfect. And most definitely it wasn't all bad jokes really. Take a look onto these:
1."Hey, I've found the stuffed toy cow that you wanted. It's so cute that it makes the teddy bear next to it looks so damn ugly. <-- the girl thought I was blaming the teddy bear for not being able to buy the goddamn cow. What the frak?
2. Instead of saying I'm single I always say "I'm now the vice president of kelab bujang of (any affiliations)". <-- Lots of people didn't get this one too.
3. I love Douglas Adams so much that I borrowed his pun "You can tune a guitar, but you can't tuna fish. Unless of course, you play bass."<-- my jamming buddies didn't get it and it created uncomfortable silence afterward.
It's a small matter but I don't know why it bothers me so much. So, before I start screaming "What the frak is wrong with me!!" in public and go mental, somebody needs to explain this to me. Or you know, you could just throw a bottle at my head.
